- FOUND: Technician inspected the wiring to the horn and found an open circuit, which was causing a short and preventing proper operation of the horn. The wiring was repaired, and proper electrical current is now being delivered to the horn. Once the horn is re-installed, it should operate at proper specifications. The initial failure may have been caused by the old horn. After thoroughly inspecting the horn we found the old horn had water inside the horn which caused the shortage. At this time the new horn was installed in the vehicle.
