- FOUND: Found: Stored P0600:00-28 – Serial Communication Link Malfunction. Stored U0428:62-60 – Invalid Data Received from Steering Angle Sensor. Corrosion was found on the battery terminals, which can cause unstable voltage and incorrect signals to the BCM at cold start, resulting in communication errors. Action Performed: Cleaned battery terminals and restored proper power/ground connections. Verified BCM pin connectors – all good, with proper power and ground confirmed. Performed SAS (Steering Angle Sensor) calibration using scan tool. Next Steps / Notes: Vehicle should be monitored for recurrence of DTCs. If U0428 returns, the steering angle sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
