- FOUND: We scanned the vehicle and found diagnostic trouble code P0016 indicating a crankshaft/camshaft correlation issue. An oil change was performed, the codes were cleared, and the vehicle was test driven. After the test drive, the Check Engine Light returned and the same code was found again. To further diagnose the concern, the VVT solenoids were swapped from the left side to the right side. The fault code did not follow the solenoids, indicating the solenoids are not the cause of the issue. Based on these findings, we recommend performing a full timing chain kit replacement due to a likely internal timing correlation problem.
- REMOVE AND REPLACE MOTOR OIL AND OIL FILTER, LUBE CHASSIS WHERE APPLICABLE, CHECK TIRE PRESSURE AND ALL FLUID LEVELS.

- FOUND: HVAC DOOR ACTUATOR – Temperature Blend Door and Control Assy are recommended to be replaced DTC found B1081
- HVAC DOOR ACTUATOR – Remove & Replace – F150 Temperature Blend Door,Left Side,w/Console – [Includes: R&I Instrument Panel. DOES NOT include Air Conditioning System recover, evacuate and recharge.]
- SERVICE AIR CONDITIONER. CHECK CONDITION OF ALL BELTS AND LINES. EVACUATE AND RECHARGE WITH R-134. TEST SYSTEM PERFORMANCE.
- HVAC CONTROL ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – F150 w/o Navigation System,w/Console – [Includes: R&I Passenger Air Bag.]
