- FOUND: Performed scan and retrieved engine DTCs P2070, P0174, and P0520. – P2070 – Intake manifold tuning valve issue, which can affect performance and drivability. – P0174 – System running too lean on Bank 2, meaning the engine may not be getting the correct fuel-to-air mixture. – P0520 – Engine oil pressure sensor circuit fault, which can lead to incorrect oil pressure readings. These are three separate problems. We will begin with one hour of diagnostic time to start identifying the root cause of the first fault. If more time is needed, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding. After the repair, we have to check the system. FOUND / RECOMMENDATION: Intake manifold flap is sticking and requires replacement. The engine air intake hose is also cracked and must be replaced. Replacing these two components will most likely resolve codes P2070 and P0174, but parts must be replaced and the system retested to confirm. The code P0520 (engine oil pressure sensor circuit) is unrelated and will require a separate diagnostic, as it is a completely different issue.
- INTAKE MANIFOLD – Remove & REPAIR & REINSTALL – Upper ENGINE AIR INTAKE PIPE – Remove & Replace
- FOUND: RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH AND RETEST THE SYSTEM.
- OIL PRESSURE SWITCH – Remove & Replace – [Includes: R&I Alternator. Includes:Drain and refill Low Temperature Cooling System.]
- MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR – Remove & Replace
